Communication adapter TRANS

Communication adapter TRANS is a versatile simulator of various types parallel and serial tape readers and tape punches and certain types of cassette recorders. The adapter contains two normalized serial channels RS232C for duplex data transmission when connected to PC, diskette recorder or to a modern CNC systems. Also contains a parallel channel for tape readers simulation, parallel channel for punches simulation and an input for readers scanning .

The main feature of the TRANS adapter is its versatility. By changing of configuration, i.e. by setting of parameters per built-in keyboard is possible to match TRANS to variety of peripheral devices used in NC and CNC systems. The main component is back up CMOS RAM memory destined for data storage. A built in accumulator ensures data storage for a couple of month after TRANS is disconnected from main supply. The TRANS memory can storage up to 128 000 characters in one- off loading or, in a sequential loading mode up to memory capacity of system connected.
