Profile of company MEFI, s.r.o.

Company MEFI, s.r.o. was established in August 1992 by research and development specialists of CNC systems in former state enterprises ZPA KŘIŽÍK and VÚAP Praha. The company deals with development, manufacturing and application of control systems for working machines, burning and special devices and by manufacturing of communication adapters for substitution of peripherals in NC and CNC machines.

The control systems series CNC836, CNC846 a CNC856 are destined for machines equipped by DC, AC or pulse drives. The systems are applicable for milling machines, lathes and drill machines. A special series of systems is used for control of precise burning machines. In some application on customer request the systems were used on single and double wheel grinders and cutting press TRUMATIC. The communication adapters TRANS are destined particularly as substitute of punched tape as well as serial peripherals in NC a CNC systems. The main advantage is their versatility and general purpose applicability. With one type of device is possible to connect various types of machines. By connecting of TRANS devices to DNC a useful possibility of direct connection of technologist center with each machine with various modes of remote control can be reached.

The company MEFI cooperates in the Czech Republic with many custom oriented companies which deal with installation of DNC networks with communication adapters TRANS and with innovation of working machines by MEFI systems. The Slovakian companies which deal with innovation of control systems and application of communication adapters are companies CR-DAT NC Detva, LEMAKOR Prakovce and firma PAIGER Trenčín.
