Basic Technical Data

Interface:

• One serial port RS232 destined for ETRANS configuration terminal (Supervising serial port).
• One serial port RS232destined for ETRANS connection to serial port of control system of CNC machine (data serial port).
• one parallel port destined for connection of ETRANS to a parallel interface of machine control system.
• Supervising serial port shares with the parallel port one connector.
• Connector RJ45 10BASE-T for ETRANS connection to Ethernet network.

Supply voltage:

• External supply 12V DC.

Keyboard and display:

• Keyboard and display are optional.
• Alphanumeric LCD display, 2 rows, 16 characters per row
• Alphanumeric keyboard with 16 keys. Characters are typed via multiply keystroke.

Protocols (interface Ethernet):

• ARP, ICMP - subset (echo - ping client), TCP/IP, FTP - client (authorization by name and password, Directory listing directories , Directory browsing on the server file transmission in both directions).

• no-protocol transmission
• "Pseudoprotocol"
• Heidenhain (FE1, FE2)
• MDTP1 (for systems MEFI)
• Parallel (simulation various punched tape readers)

Serial interface:

• Transmission rate in range 600 up to 57600 b/s (600 b/s, 1200 b/s, 2400 b/s, 4800 b/s, 9600 b/s, 19200 b/s, 38400 b/s, 57600 b/s).
• No parity, odd or even parity
• 7 or 8 databits
• 1 or 2 stopbits
• Maximum 10 bits per character (number of databits + number of stopbits + number of parity bits).
• Transmission control: XOn/XOff, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR

Firmware:

• Stored in v EEPROM 128 kB
• Possible actualization by FTP or programmer connected to PC parallel port.
