DUAL system features

Interpolation and timing of servoloops

Scanning of software position loops is every 1ms, interpolator timing is 1ms. A minimal duration of a block for continuous speed establishment is 4ms (e.g. blocks with length 1 mm can have continuous support 13m/min ).

Envelope speed

The system moves continuously among each block without speed change on the block passing and aims to reach programmed speed even during multiblocks run. This gives possibility that even a small length blocks are treated with reasonable higher speed then in discontinuous moving. It results that system must anticipate the speed based on next block criteria. Analyzing of next blocks is provided max. 500 blocks ahead.

Criteria for the next block speed control

  1. The speed limiting with sufficient overtaking when a low speed is programmed in the next block
  2. End of continuous movement interval (a space angle of link up of two sequential blocks is greater then permissible limit). For instance the system with overtaking breaks when pass to another contour line during 3D machining.
  3. Dynamic criteria. Based on a principle that a system of drives together with whole kinematics have certain allowed overload. Based on a speed and a block link -up angle the speed is corrected with sufficient overtaking not to exceed this overload.
  4. Accuracy criteria. The system with sufficient overtaking limits a speed not to exceed certain trajectory deviation limit.
  5. Centrifugal acceleration criteria for circle interpolation. System with overtaking limits a speed to keep circle interpolation parameters.
  6. Geometrical criteria. Based on a speed , block link-up angle and block length the system attempts to analyze trajectory zones to correct speed with sufficient overtaking.

The length of CNC partprogram and loading

The partprogram length depends on a dynamic memory capacity - When memory capacity is 128MB the maximum length of the partprogram is cca 12MB. During work is in dynamic memory stored a compressed form of partprogram and a whole record of partprogram trajectory hence system do not use the disc operation. For partprogram loading a commonly delivered WINDOWS networks connection is preferred. Also protocol MDTP1 for serial communication with maximum speed of 115kBd is recommended . The floppy units installed in control unit module is destined for service purposes
